workshops
Creative workshops
Clay modeling, and  willow and paper workshops, provide quick and productive ways of working with groups of mixed abilities. During this type of workshop tools and materials can be brought  to a school or community hall, to enable group or individual artworks to be created for home or  display within the school. These events encourage intuitive creativity and can be used as ‘brainstorming’ sessions to develop ideas for

Copper Panel workshops
The copper panel workshops provide an opportunity to learn the traditional metalworking processes of embossing, chasing and repousee. Sessions ran at Persistence works; allow unique 2D designs to be created and worked up into textural copper panels. Solo or combined together they create impressive textural wall art. They can also be incorporated into permanent public artworks demonstrated by the community seating at St Barts, Sheffield (see left)
Project ‘Hand-on’ work experience
During the development of permanent public art projects There is the opportunity for local people to  take part in the manufacture of artworks for their own communities.
‘Carbrook Ravine’ is a good example of this approach. Working with the local young people; each part of the design was designed and made by an individual member of the group, with each
